Dear Friends,
I would like to wish all of you a very Happy New Year!
This is an exciting year for Upland with the opening of our beautiful new Fire Station #4 in the Colonies, the new Animal Services Facility at Memorial Park, and the rehabilitation of our original Fire Station next to the Carnegie Community Building.
We are prudently dealing with the end of the economic recession along with the State of California's budgetary problems so we can continue to provide you the best possible services. We are in the middle of our Mid-Year Financial Review and will take the necessary steps to ensure we end our fiscal year with a balanced budget!
Upland will be having an important election this November: my term is up along with Brendan Brandt and Ray Musser. At this point all three of us are running and no one else has formally announced their intention to run. I believe we all have a lot to offer our community and ask for your support in my re-election campaign.
